Behind the Scene : Making the class

Monika

Since I joined Pandu Indonesian Language Course, I have found many interesting experiences in teaching Bahasa Indonesia. One of them is when the student refused to study. He said “Saya malas belajar”. So we decided to read Doraemon comic instead. Although he enjoyed reading the comic very much, some of the words in the comic were difficult. At the end of the class he said that he gained more knowledge about Bahasa Indonesia. It made me realized that the material can be delivered using many media, including comic books. The best thing about teaching Bahasa Indonesia in Pandu is that the teaching and learning process not only takes place inside the classroom but also outside. Some students prefer to study in our courtyard, and some like to study and go sightseeing at the same time. So, usually our classes are enjoyable classes
